AC Police Charge Pair With Endangering The Welfare Of A Child

Two North Carolina residents face endangering the welfare of a child charges in Atlantic City. Police responded to Bally’s Atlantic City for an unattended infant left in a hotel room. Security personnel reported that the occupants of the room, 33 year old Jequan Campbell and 33 year old Teeah McCall, had requested items from housekeeping. When the housekeeper arrived, Campbell and McCall had already left the room. After entering the room to leave the needed items, the housekeeper observed an infant sleeping in a crib and notified security officers. Campbell and McCall were located and taken into custody. The New Jersey Department of Child Protection & Permanency was notified.
