Another court date is set since Superior Court Judge John C. Porto made no decision Monday about whether the Atlantic City Housing Authority should be held in continuing contempt of court for failing to comply with court orders for almost two years. According to the Press of Atlantic City Porto is quoted saying “Really it’s the integrity of the system we are looking at here,” said Porto after an afternoon hearing in which he took testimony from authority board Chair Stephanie Marshall and Executive Director Tom Sahlin. “We have orders, and orders are meant to be followed.”
