The city of Ventnor will use quite a bit of the $7.1 million in state funds it was allotted in February via the $100 million Boardwalk Preservation Fund to procure supplies ahead of time. And at the last city commissioners meeting Sept. 12, DeBlasio & Associates was awarded $4,000 to prepare the bid process to purchase the decking materials that will be used to replace a section of the city’s Boardwalk that has been falling apart.
