The Coast Guard rescued four people in two separate incidents Saturday in Absecon Inlet. Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay received a report from Brigantine police about two girls, ages 11 and 14, who were swept out to Absecon Inlet on surfboards. The girls were recovered and returned to the city’s Coast Guard station and local EMS, the Coast Guard said. Then a little while later two men in dsitress in inner tubes were also rescued in Brigantine.
