Galloway Township Man Accused In Shooting Case Ordered Held In Jail Until Trial

A Galloway Township man charged in a March shooting was ordered held in jail Friday until trial. The Press of Atlantic City reports 19 year old Ashan Jackson is charged with with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Officers responded to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, at 2:34 a.m. March 13 and found a 29-year-old shooting victim. The victim told investigators he was shot near Pennsylvania and Pacific avenues during an altercation with Jackson.
