An Atlantic City police officer was assigned to each school in the city for the first time ever Tuesday as part of a partnership between the city and the Board of Education, reports the Press of Atlantic City.
One officer will be stationed at each kindergarten-through-eighth grade school while two officers will patrol the high school, city officials said in a news release.
