39 year old Rashaun Williams from Atlantic City pleaded guilty to a charge of Certain Persons not to Possess Weapons, calling for a recommended sentence of five years in New Jersey State Prison
On August 13, 2024, Atlantic City Police officers responded to a convenience store on Atlantic
Avenue in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located the victim who was taken to the
hospital for apparent stab wounds to his arm, stomach, and leg. Williams was later apprehended
by police, still in possession of the pocketknife he used to stab the victim. The assault was
captured on surveillance video provided by the convenience store.
