The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Community Outreach Team is actively traveling throughout Atlantic County, presenting critical topics to students regarding internet safety, social media awareness, digital citizenship, social media branding, decisionmaking, and the consequences of online behavior. So far they’ve visited Atlantic County Institute of Technology, Egg Harbor City
Community School, Northfield Community School, Linwood Belhaven Middle School, and Egg Harbor
Township High School. The presentations emphasize the potential dangers of social media, particularly the risks associated with certain apps and gaming platforms. With an interactive and engaging approach, the sessions are hard hitting, informative and impactful.
