27 year old Louis Stokes, pleaded guilty July 25 to aggravated assault, possession of a handgun for an unlawful purpose and hindering apprehension. The Press of Atlantic City reports police responded to Sewell Avenue just before midnight Oct. 14, 2022, and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, the Prosecutor’s Office said Wednesday in a news release. Officers then found eight expended .9mm shell casings at Pennsylvania and Adriatic avenues. Stokes was arrested in connection with the incident.
