A Mays Landing woman on trial for stealing more than $175,000 from an Ocean County senior living community is alleged to have lied about her daughter receiving leukemia treatment in Texas to get her original court case postponed, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said Wednesday. According to the PRess of Atlantic City Alicia Campbell, 37, was charged with tampering with public records or information, impersonation, forgery, obstruction of justice and making an unsworn false statement to authorities when it was discovered the hospital in Texas where Campbell claimed her daughter was receiving treatments never met or treated the family.
