A 43-year-old Pleasantville man was arrested Sunday morning in an August shooting, police said, but not before allegedly attempting to reach for a gun. According to the Press of Atlantic City, Juan Maldonado was spotted on a bicycle in the 2500 block of Pacific Avenue at 6:26 a.m. He had an active warrant for his arrest stemming from a shooting Aug. 17 that wounded a man.
