Atlantic City voters Tuesday approved extending the cannabis green zone to include parts of Kentucky and Albany avenues, with about 56.5% of the vote in favor. The Press of Atlantic City reports the question was nonbinding, with the state having the final say under the 2016 Municipal Stabilization and Recovery Act that allowed the state takeover of the city.
At Small’s urging, City Council previously voted to expand the cannabis zone to Albany Avenue from the bridge west to the U-turn by Atlantic City High School, and to Kentucky Avenue from Atlantic to Arctic avenues.
