Atlantic City police Chief James Sarkos says the most important thing to the city is its youth, which is why his department participates in events such as the annual Shop with a Cop. The department gathered 75 kids at the Walmart on the Black Horse Pike Thursday morning for a shopping spree ahead of the holidays.He adds “We feel very strongly that it’s important for the officers to have interactions with the community outside enforcement actions.”
