An Egg Harbor man who went missing from a local nursing home Thursday night was found in a wooded area between the home and a liquor distribution facility, police said. Officers responded to ExcelCare on Delilah Road at 10:50 p.m. for a report of a missing person. Herschel Saylor was last seen leaving the facility at 4:58 p.m., police said Friday in a news release. Surveillance video showed Saylor walking next to the facility until the cameras lost sight of him, police said. K-9 units tracked Saylor to an area of thick brush near two fences separating ExcelCare and Harrison Beverage. Saylor was found 1,000 feet into the brush between the two properties, police said. He was transported to an area hospital for evaluation.
