41 year old Ronald Johnson, of Atlantic City pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree
Robbery and weapons charges. On April 11, 2024, officers of the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a residence for a report of an injured female. The victim stated that a male she knew, Ronald Johnson, had
assaulted her, took her cellphone, and threatened to kill her if she called the police. She
provided police with a description of the suspect, who was no longer on scene. Later that same date, police located Johnson. Police advised Johnson he was being placed under arrest. Pursuant to a search incident to arrest, police located an unregistered 9mm handgun in the defendant’s waistband. Johnson is scheduled to be sentenced on April 30, 2025.
