Members of the Cape May County Board of Commissioners celebrated a 2025 budget introduced Tuesday that would reduce the tax rate.According to Commission Director Len Desiderio, the budget, if approved as introduced, will ask county taxpayers for $671,000 less than the year before, the first time there has been such a reduction in more than 30 years.
