According to the Press of Atlantic City in Atlantic City the effectiveness of state oversight and the viability of the casino payment-in-lieu-of-taxes program will be reviewed by a commission that will make recommendations for the resort’s future.The original 2016 version of the PILOT legislation called for the creation of a seven-member commission to review and determine the effectiveness of the casino PILOT program that is slated to end next year.
