An Atlantic City man is jailed on charges including vehicular homicide in the deaths of a Mays Landing couple last month. 25 year old Levon Woods of Atlantic City, was allegedly under the influence when he crossed into oncoming traffic just after 4 a.m. Feb. 22, and struck a vehicle driven by Thomas Splinter, reports BreakingAC.com. The head-on crash happened in the area of milepost 19.4 on County Road 552. Splinter, 57, and his wife passenger, were killed. Woods, who sustained moderate injuries, was issued traffic citations at the time for driving under the influence, reckless driving and unsafe lane change.
