In Atlantic City neighbors of a popular beach bar urged a state agency Thursday to reject a plan to expand its deck and add a swimming pool, saying the business has made life in the area unbearable with noise and rowdy customers.And according to the Press of Atlantic City the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, in its role as land use regulator for Atlantic City’s Tourism District, heard five hours of testimony regarding a plan to add a beachfront pool to the former Chelsea Beach Bar.ECAA LLC has applied to the agency for permission to expand its business by extending its deck and adding a 12-by-40-foot pool that would be 3 feet deep for use by bar patrons.
