Egg Harbor Township officers were called to the 6600 block of the Black Horse Pike at 4:38 a.m. Thursday for a woman who was in labor in a vehicle, reports BreakingAC.com.
Officers Heidi Wollerman, Juwan Parker, Gary Johnson and Samuel Walsh arrived to find the 40-year-old expectant woman in the passenger seat. Emergency Medical Services EMTs Jillian Mellish and William Shallcross crawled into the car in the dark and made the call that the baby was not going to wait.
Mellish and Shallcross delivered the healthy baby with help from the officers on scene.
