Reducing Fatal Accidents

According to the Press of Atlantic City the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and Atlantic County Association of Chiefs of Police are teaming up to help reduce fatal accidents.Atlantic County recorded 58 fatal crashes in 2024, a 10-year high. This also placed the county as second in the state for fatal collisions.“The loss of life on our roadways is devastating, and every fatal crash leaves a lasting impact on the families and loved ones left behind,” Hammonton police Chief Kevin Friel, president of the chiefs association, said in a statement. “These are not just statistics; they are parents, children, and friends who should have made it home safely. We must all work together to prevent these tragedies.”
