In Avalon the borough said Wednesday it has been awarded $84,000 from the New Jersey Local Recreation Improvement Grant program for the creation of a fitness trail designed for seniors and people with physical limitations.The trail will be located next to the recreational fields along Ocean Drive near Eighth Street, the borough said in a news release. It will include a walking path, fitness stations and benches.
