In a roadwork update Fernwood Avenue between West Jersey Avenue and Imperial Drive will be closed today for sinkhole repairs, police said. The closure is expected to last until 5 p.m., police said in a Facebook post. Those traveling to Fernwood Avenue Middle School and the surrounding neighborhoods will be detoured to Tremont Avenue and travel to Main Avenue before reaching Fernwood Avenue, police said.
