New Jersey’s casinos, racetracks and their partners won more than $536 million in April, an increase of 5% from a year ago, but officials say more than half of that total came from people who did not visit the sites. The Press of Atlantic City reports, in addition, New York is moving to add three casinos in or near New York City that could seriously cut into Atlantic City’s market as a place people come physically to gamble.
