Gov. Discusses Prospects Of Casinos Outside AC

Gov. Phil Murphy says he is “open-minded” about allowing casinos in northern or central New Jersey as a way to keep gambling and tourism dollars from leaving the state. The Press of Atlantic City reports, in an interview Wednesday, the Democratic governor said he realizes that allowing casinos somewhere other than Atlantic City will affect the resort. But he also said his duty is to keep gambling money within the state’s borders.
