A four-alarm fire that burned through the night at Giordano’s Recycling that caused Landis Avenue to close as well as put an air quality advisory in place, is under control, the city’s Fire Department and Office of Emergency Management said. According to the Press of Atlantic City, the fire at 110 N. Mill Road began at 7:54 p.m. Saturday. Crews got the fire under control just after 7 a.m. Sunday but remained at the scene to clean up any hot spots, officials said. People were asked to avoid the area.
