Law enforcement officials have charged a 26-year-old Atlantic City, New Jersey, man with 13 counts of animal cruelty after, police claim, he tortured, beat and killed stray cats. News 10 reports on Tuesday, police in Atlantic City arrested Edwin Sanabia, after investigating reports of stray cats being killed in Sanabia’s neighborhood.
According to police, Sanabia is believed to have lured stray cats into his home with food, only to torture, beat and kill the animals.
