On Monday, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Atlantic City
Police Department received a 911 call regarding a male lying on the sidewalk outside of the
Martinique Motel, 3029 Pacific Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ. Police arrived on scene and located a
male, identified as Kendell Roseborough, 28, of Atlantic City, NJ, unresponsive with what
appeared to be one gunshot wound. Roseborough was pronounced deceased on scene a short
time later. The official cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
This incident is currently being investigated by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major
Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department Violent Crimes Unit.
