Multiple crews put out a car fire on the Garden State Parkway on Sunday morning. According to the Press of Atlantic City, the Somers Point Volunteer Fire Department responded around 10:45 a.m. to a car that was on fire on the side of the parkway at mile marker 30.7. Crews arrived to find an unoccupied car in the tree line of the southbound lanes fully engulfed in flames. Crews were able to bring the fire quickly under control. The fire is being investigated.
