Drivers will soon no longer have to dodge potholes on Atlantic Avenue as “all roads are clear” to complete a long-anticipated paving project, Mayor Marty Small Sr. said Thursday. The Press of Atlantic City reports a news conference was held to announce $17.3 million in funding for repaving Atlantic Avenue and other improvements. In the end, the federal government is paying $10.3 million of the $17.3 million project. The remainder will be paid through eight different grants acquired over the years.
