The school districts in Cape May and West Cape May are set to take another look at consolidation, seeking a consulting firm to perform a feasibility study. According to the Press of Atlantic City, officials say the plan should address the current situation as two separate school districts, potential impacts that would occur if a merger were to take place, and make recommendations for the future of both school districts. In June, Cape May School Business Administrator John Thomas received notice of a $50,000 grant from the state Department of Community Affairs through the School Regionalization Efficiency Program to look at regionalization and shared services between the two small districts.
