30 year old Jomar Saez of Atlantic City pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary in return for
a sentence recommendation from the State of three years in New Jersey State Prison.
On July 11, 2025, Atlantic City Police Department officers were dispatched to the Tropicana
casino parking garage in reference to a break-in of an automobile. Police spoke with the victims,
who advised they returned to their vehicle to find there were items missing from the trunk –
specifically a zebra-print suitcase containing over $500.00 worth of cosmetics. The suspect was
observed on surveillance footage walking away from the area of the vehicle holding the zebraprint suitcase. Police apprehended Saez, who matched the description of the suspect, in the area
of South Chelsea and Pacific Avenues. He was still in possession of the zebra-print suitcase.
Sentencing is scheduled for February 27, 2026.
