A Pleasantville man, whose house was lost to a fire recetnly, was struck by a car Tuesday, just hours later. BreakingAC.com reports Roberto Vidanos-Martinez was collecting donations left for his family, when he was struck at the intersection of New Road and Park Avenue. The driver, Amira Hare-Jones, 28, of Pleasantville, stayed at the scene. The crash is under investigation. Vidanos-Martinez, 32, was rushed to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus, where he is on a ventilator and is being treated for a multitude of injuries. His family already was reeling after losing their Wesley Avenue home to a fire at about 5:45 that morning.
