Renaissance Plaza Redevelopment

According to the Press of Atlantic City the state will spend $20 million to redevelop the rundown Renaissance Plaza, including expanding and modernizing the food store there to bring healthier food and more of it to city residents. When work is completed on the Save A Lot in the next two years, the company said, it will have more fresh produce and meat, a full-service deli and freshly baked goods from local bakeries – things that customers of suburban grocery stores take for granted but which have been largely out of reach for city residents for years.
