City officials announced Thursday a community solar initiative they said could save residents up to 15% on their electricity bills.According to the Press of Atlantic City the announcement came after City Council awarded a contract to New York-based company HESP Solar during its meeting Wednesday night.“Through this program, the great city of Atlantic City is going to continue its green initiatives,” Mayor Marty Small Sr said. “This yet another example of the Small administration’s fiscal prudence. We’re always looking to save the taxpayers and the residents money.”
