Mayor Marty Small faces charges that include aggravated assault, terroristic threats and witness tampering in connection with alleged abuse of his teenage daughter. Jury selection began Tuesday, with dozens of Atlantic County residents spending the day in a Mays Landing courtroom. The process will continue Wednesday.
