Schooner Landing Road is scheduled to be closed and detoured at Route 47 from Thursday morning until next spring as part of a bridge replacement project, the state Department of Transportation said.The closure will allow for drainage and roadway work related to the bridge replacement, the DOT said Tuesday in a news release. Motorists on Route 47 northbound wishing to turn onto Schooner Landing Road will be directed to Route 55.Route 47 was closed and detoured in both directions between Schooner Drive and Schooner Landing Road in September to replace the bridge over Menantico Creek as part of an $11 million, federally funded project.
