Atlantic City is offering help for residents in danger of losing their homes or having their utilities shut off. Mayor Marty Small announced $400,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds available. That includes $200,000 each for rental assistance and utilities. BreakingAC.com reports residents can apply for help in person at City Hall, Room 103, 1301 Bacharach Blvd. With similar funds over the last year, the city has helped more than 113 families keep from becoming homeless or come back from homelessness, said Jarrod Barnes, the director Health and Human Services.
