Business owners turned out Jan. 20 to complain about a 150% increase in parking rates and chide the Stone Harbor Borough Council for once again taking an action that affects their community without prior public discussion.The council on Jan. 6 had voted 4 to 2 to increase the hourly rate for parking from $1 to $2.50. Stone Harbor has paid parking in zones in and around its business district.
