Over the next week, the New Jersey Air National Guard’s 177th Fighter Wing will begin night-flying training tonight. The nocturnal training runs for the 177th, which is based at Atlantic City International Airport, will take place today and Friday this week and March 3-5 next week.The 177th claimed in a Facebook post on Wednesday that the missions enable the jet wing to remain combat-ready.The 177th, which flies F-16C Fighting Falcons with a single seat, has been in South Jersey for almost 70 years.
