Atlantic City police officers and casino personnel were honored for their action during a shooting inside a casino parking garage last year. According to BreakingAC.com, police were called to the Ocean Casino parking garage just after 9 p.m. July 12, for the report of a man shot. Officers arrived within minutes and located 41-year-old Robert Phillips, with multiple gunshots to his lower body, according to the report. They immediately began rendering lifesaving medical aid, while additional units secured the scene, identified witnesses and preserved evidence.
