An Atlantic City woman was sentenced to six years in prison after admitting to a marijuana-production facility out of her home. According to BreakingAC.com, 52 year old Brandie Howerton was arrested Dec. 11, 2024, at her home in the 600 block of Drexel Avenue. Police found 11 pot plants along with two UV lights for growing.
There also was other marijuana-growing and packaging material, along drug paraphernalia, including two crack pipes. Howerton has been jailed since her arrest, and is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility awaiting transfer to state prison.
