Bus Driver From Pleasantville Indicted In Deadly Pedestrian Crash

A New Jersey Transit bus driver reported that he struck a deer while driving along Shore Road in Absecon on Nov. 30, according to charges now allegedly he fatally struck a man. BreakingAC.com reports 41 year old Christopher Younger of Pleasantville, was indicted Wednesday on a charge second-degree leaving the scene crash resulting in death. He was driving south on South Shore Road just before 6 p.m. Nov. 30, when he struck Thomas Kyle shortly after passing Iowa Avenue. Younger stopped in the area of West Bolton Avenue — about a block away — got out of the bus, inspected it for damage, and then got back in and continued on his route, later calling into the control center that he had struck a deer. Kyle, 63, of Absecon, was pronounced dead at the scene.
