A significant response was prompted by graffiti of a swastika discovered on a lavatory wall at the Coast Guard training center in Cape May. Coast Guard Commandant Kevin Lunday will speak to 900 recruits and employees about the issue.The Coast Guard statement did not identify the hand-drawn symbol on the wall, however it has been suggested that it is a swastika. The statement omitted information about who noticed the graffiti, when it was located, and if recruits could access the restroom.The symbol’s been removed.
