Recently, two first responders were recognized for their heroic efforts after a house fire in Galloway Township in January.Firefighters Nicholas Stewart and John Parker received life-saving awards from Oceanville Volunteer Fire Company Chief Chuck Uhl and township Mayor Tony Coppola, Jr. for their efforts during a condominium fire on December 10, 2025.The acknowledgment was made at the Jan. 27 meeting of the township council.
