An alleged attack on Marion Street early on Sunday morning is being looked into by the Bridgeton police.Officers responded to a report of an assault in the 100 block of Marion at approximately 2:55 a.m. According to a police news release, the victim was allegedly attacked by a man wearing just dark clothing.According to authorities, the suspect fled after stealing objects from the victim’s pockets. The victim declined to receive medical care.There have been no arrests.
