Grant Brings Pleasantville Closer To Student Pedestrian Bridge

A $1.5 million grant could help make it safer for some Pleasantville students to walk to school. The money would go toward the creation of a pedestrian bridge over the Atlantic City Expressway, leading to the Middle and High schools off Mill Road, reports BreakingAC.com. The long-proposed project is estimated to be about $8.5 million, according to a news release announcing the grant. The proposed walkway would connect Route 9 at West Adams Avenue with the schools, following Mill Road, which currently is interrupted by the expressway
