A promotion ceremony was staged on Friday by Atlantic city’s fire and police agencies.At the ceremony for the promotion of two firefighters and five other police department personnel, as well as one internal promotion, Atlantic City Fire Chief Scott Evans, Mayor Marty Small Sr., and Public Safety Director Sean Riggin joined Atlantic City Police Chief James Sarkos in the City Council chambers.Richard Williams was elevated to Fire Captain and Paul Hess to Battalion Chief.John Waddell and Joshua Schwenger received promotions to lieutenants in the police force. Mateusz Lazicki was promoted from SLEO to full-time police officer, and Huan Le, Juliann Schwenger, and Amir Hughes were promoted to sergeant.
