Shoplifting Arrest

According to police, a Vineland man was taken into custody for allegedly shoplifting from two East Broad Street establishments over the course of just over 27 hours this past weekend.Two counts of shoplifting, contempt, and possession of a controlled hazardous substance were brought against 56-year-old Daniel Jenkins.When police arrived at Wawa at 7:31 a.m. on Saturday, they discovered that Jenkins had broken in and stolen roughly $35 worth of goods without paying, according to a news release issued by the police on Monday.Jenkins was located, taken into custody, processed, and then released by the police.
