In order to assess ideas for Ocean city’s most urgent problem-what to do with the former Wonderland amusement park property on the Boardwalk-City Council hired a professional planner on Thursday.The appointment of Jennifer L. Heller of Egg Harbor Township-based Polistina & Associates LLC to assist legislators in considering options for the property at 600 Boardwalk was unanimously approved by the council.The community is divided over developer Eustace Mita’s plan to construct a 252-room, multistory hotel at the Wonderland site.
